The National Orchestra of Iran, in its latest program titled \u201cRostamzad\u201d, will perform under the composition and guest conducting of Amir Pourkhalaji for two nights at Vahdat Hall.<\/p>\n

Rudaki Foundation: the National Orchestra of Iran, with Amir Pourkhalaji as composer and guest conductor, will present a new work titled \u201cRostamzad\u201d on September 29 and 30 at 9:30 p.m. at Vahdat Hall.
\nThis piece, written for string orchestra, unfolds in 16 musical scenes narrating some of the most significant stories of Ferdowsi\u2019s Shahnameh. Its narrative begins with the birth of Zal and ends with the birth of Rostam, the legendary hero of Ferdowsi\u2019s epic.
\n\u201cRostamzad\u201d is an effort to connect orchestral music with classical Persian literature, offering a modern reflection of Ferdowsi\u2019s enduring legacy in the realm of national music. The performance also provides audiences with an opportunity to engage with one of Iran\u2019s oldest epic narratives from a fresh artistic perspective.
