Roudaki Foundation has released the second piece from the project \u201cEight Years and These Days\u201d titled \u201cCrimson Horizon\u201d, which was performed in 1983 with vocals by the master vocalist Shahram Nazeri.<\/p>\n

Roudaki Foundation: this piece was made available to the general public, researchers, and enthusiasts for free, as part of the Foundation\u2019s ongoing musical project aimed at honoring the legacy of resistance music.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This work was composed by Hooshang Kamkar based on a poem by Moshfegh Kashani, and performed by the Tehran Symphony Orchestra and Choir in July 1983, with vocals by Shahram Nazeri.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The project \u201cEight Years and These Days\u201d has been initiated by the Roudaki Foundation to preserve and reflect the musical heritage of the Iran\u2013Iraq war (Sacred Defense) era \u2014 showcasing the sincere solidarity of artists with the soldiers and defenders of the homeland during those years and days.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

More works by prominent figures of traditional and orchestral Iranian music will be released in the future as part of this project.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the piece “The Anthem of the Pen” (Sorood-e Ghalam), composed by Mohammad Ahmadian, with poetry by Taha Hejazi and vocals by Mehrdad Kazemi, originally performed in 1982, had also been released as part of this project.<\/p>\n
