{"id":29535,"date":"2025-05-26T15:58:01","date_gmt":"2025-05-26T11:28:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roudakifoundation.com\/en\/?p=29535"},"modified":"2026-02-17T16:07:19","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T12:37:19","slug":"202505261","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roudakifoundation.com\/en\/202505261\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cFalak-ol-Aflak\u201d at Vahdat Hall \/ Tehran Symphony Orchestra\u2019s Musical Narrative of Resistance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following its performance of the Falak-ol-Aflak Symphony at the historic Falak-ol-Aflak Castle in Lorestan province, the Tehran Symphony Orchestra once again brought this symphony to the stage \u2014 this time under the baton of Nasir Heydarian at Vahdat Hall.<\/p>\n<p>Roudaki Foundation: the Falak-ol-Aflak Symphony, composed by Kambiz Roshanravan, which was previously met with great enthusiasm by audiences and art lovers of Lorestan on the evening of Thursday, May 22, was performed again on Sunday, May 25 at Vahdat Hall to a warm reception from the audience.<br \/>\nThe symphony is directly related to the eight-year Iran\u2013Iraq war and presents a musical narrative of resistance.<br \/>\nBefore the performance, a video message from composer and musician Kambiz Roshanravan was shown to the audience via the hall\u2019s display screens.<br \/>\nRoshanravan has composed this work in four movements, delicately depicting the period from before the war to Iran\u2019s final victory. The symphony also incorporates melodies from Luri music in certain sections. The composer regards Falak-ol-Aflak Castle as a symbol of resilience and endurance, which inspired the naming of the symphony.<br \/>\nThe performance of Falak-ol-Aflak created a passionate and vibrant atmosphere at Vahdat Hall.
