Rudaki Fou: The participation of the National Orchestra of Iran in the Cultural Week of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia provides an opportunity to showcase some of Iran’s musical and cultural capacities on the international stage and represents a step toward expanding cultural and artistic exchanges between Iran and Russia.

Conducted by Homayoun Rahimian and accompanied by vocalist Mojtaba Asgari, the orchestra will take the stage in Moscow and Kazan, performing a selection of Iranian musical works for Russian audiences.

The National Orchestra of Iran’s participation in the event, alongside other cultural and artistic programs held as part of Iran’s Cultural Week in Russia, will provide a platform for introducing Russian audiences to part of Iran’s musical heritage and the contemporary capacities of its arts scene. Beyond a stage performance, this potential can also help foster dialogue and closer ties between artists and cultural institutions in the two countries.
