“Figaro” at Vahdat Hall / Mozart Night with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra

The Tehran Symphony Orchestra will take the stage at Vahdat Hall on the 15th and 16th of September with a performance of “Figaro,” conducted by Nasir Heydarian; including three works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Roudaki Foundation: “Figaro” is held as part of the Tehran Symphony Orchestra’s performance schedule for the current year, and will feature the performance of Mozart’s well-known works: the “Overture to Figaro,” “Piano Concerto No. 12 in A Major,” and “Symphony No. 39 in E-flat Major.”

In the performance of Piano Concerto No. 12, Anisa Yazdanian, a young teenage artist and pianist, will appear as the soloist alongside the Tehran Symphony Orchestra.

This program offers an opportunity to hear three works from the Classical period of music and to experience Mozart’s musical world through the performance of one of the country’s most established orchestras; works that, alongside their structural and expressive differences, present a picture of the diversity and breadth of Mozart’s compositional output.

The Tehran Symphony Orchestra’s performance, titled “Figaro,” will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 15, at 21:30 in Vahdat Hall.

Tickets for this performance are available to interested attendees through the “Honarticket” website.
