Tehran Symphony Orchestra to Perform “Namira” / A Musical Narrative of Freedom and Immortality

The Tehran Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Nassir Heidarian, will perform the oratorio “Namira”, composed by Behzad Abdi, on August 19 and 20 at Vahdat Hall.

Rudaki Foundation: in its latest program, the Tehran Symphony Orchestra will present the oratorio “Namira”, under the baton of Nassir Heidarian and composed by Behzad Abdi, at Vahdat Hall.
This performance will feature prominent artists including Vahid Taj, Hossein Alishapour, Mojtaba Asgari, Hadi Feyzabadi, Mahmoud Salehi, Behnaz Naderi, Hossein Mirzaiyan, and Mohsen Zarrabadi Pour.
“Namira”, a grand and impressive work, offers a musical depiction of the Karbala epic and the spirit of freedom. Utilizing the oratorio form and orchestration for a large orchestra, choir, and ensemble of vocalists, it narrates the themes of liberty and the eternal legacy of Ashura through music.
This performance is a joint production of the Rudaki Foundation and the Ma’va Cultural Center, organized in collaboration with the Institute for the Promotion of Culture and Art Development and the Art Credit Fund.
The Tehran Symphony Orchestra’s concert titled Namira will be held on August 19 and 20 at 7:30 p.m., with tickets available to the public through the Honarticket website.
