Resumption of Rudaki Foundation Orchestras’ Rehearsals After the Mourning Period

Rehearsals for the Iran National Orchestra and the Tehran Symphony Orchestra will resume in the concert halls affiliated with the Rudaki Foundation following the conclusion of the mourning days commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).

Rudaki Foundation: based on a decision by the Artistic Council of the Foundation’s orchestras, both ensembles will perform programs during the Islamic months of Muharram and Safar that are aligned with the spiritual atmosphere of these sacred periods. These performances are intended to honor the culture of Ashura and to utilize the expressive power of music to convey spiritual and historical concepts.

Details regarding the repertoire, dates, and venues of the performances will be announced at a later time.

It is worth noting that the most recent performance by the Rudaki Foundation’s orchestras was held by the Tehran Symphony Orchestra on June 24 in the Azadi Tower area.
