A Musical Journey to “October 1904” with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra
In a unique performance, the Tehran Symphony Orchestra will present the concert “October 1904” on June 19 (29th of Khordad in the Iranian calendar), under the baton of Nassir Heidarian, at Vahdat Hall.
Roudaki Foundation: the Tehran Symphony Orchestra will perform works by Gustav Mahler, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Robert Schumann in this concert.
The program includes Symphony No. 5 by Gustav Mahler, Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A major featuring Manly Danelyan as clarinet soloist, and Schumann’s “Spring” Symphony.
Austrian composer Gustav Mahler composed his Symphony No. 5 between 1901 and 1902; it was first performed in October 1904, which is the inspiration behind the concert’s title, “October 1904”.
The Tehran Symphony Orchestra will perform “October 1904” on Tuesday, June 19 at 9:30 PM, conducted by Nassir Heidarian, at Vahdat Hall.
