Mitra Youth Orchestra to Present the Seventh “Tarze Tazeh” Performance
Under the leadership of Mohammadreza Safavi, the Mitra Youth Orchestra will take the stage at Rudaki Hall on May 22 and 23, as part of the seventh edition of the “Tarze Tazeh” initiative.
Rudaki Foundation: “Tarze Tazrh” program was launched in November of last year and, after six successful installments, now features the Mitra Youth Orchestra. Following 14 concerts over the past 20 months, the Mitra Orchestra has embarked on a new chapter with the formation of its youth division. This upcoming performance marks the orchestra’s debut within the “Tarze Tazeh” framework.
The concert will include pieces by Beethoven, Sibelius, Tchaikovsky, and others. Shakiba Khosravi will appear as the violin soloist, while Pouyan Zadmajid will perform as the viola soloist, both accompanied by the Mitra Youth Orchestra.
“Tarze Tazeh” is an initiative launched by the Rudaki Cultural and Artistic Foundation to support musical groups across various styles, including Radif-Dastgahi (traditional Persian music), regional music, and Western classical music. Previous concerts within this initiative have included: Trio + One at Vahdat Hall, Do Not Remain Silent by the Hamnavazan-e-Vedad Ensemble at Rudaki Hall, The Quartet at Rudaki Hall, Sudden Melodies by Hossein Alishapour and Maziar Shahi at Vahdat Hall, Nivak Ensemble at Rudaki Hall, and the Dialogue Orchestra led by Paniz Feryousefi — all of which received warm reception from audiences.
The Mitra Youth Orchestra concert will be held at 8 PM on May 22 and 23 at Rudaki Hall. Tickets are available for purchase on the IranConcert website.
