The National Orchestra of Iran Presents “A Memory Stays with Me” / A Night Honoring Mohammad Sarir
The first concert of the National Orchestra of Iran in the new year, conducted by Homayoun Rahimian and titled “A Memory Stays with Me”, will be held on the evening of Monday, April 20th (Ordibehesht 1st) at Vahdat Hall in commemoration of Mohammad Sarir.
Rudaki Foundation: in its first performance of the year 1404, will present a collection of works by the veteran musician and composer Mohammad Sarir on a night dedicated to his memory.
Pieces to be performed include “Jan-e Maryam”, “Be Khaater-e Parandeh”, “Delaviztarin”, “Ey Iran, Iran”, “Baran”, “Avaz Ba Eshgh”, “Shirin and Farhad”, “Sokhan-e Eshgh”, and “Khazan-e Omr”, all composed by Mohammad Sarir.
Vocalist Ali Tafreshi will also accompany the orchestra as the featured singer.
The concert, “A Memory Stays with Me”, conducted by Homayoun Rahimian, will take place at 9:30 PM on April 20th at Vahdat Hall.
