A Prolific Artistic Year for the Rudaki Foundation Comes to an End / Hosting 376 Artistic Groups and 1,185 Performances

The Rudaki Foundation concluded its activities in the year 1403 (2024-2025) by hosting 376 artistic groups and 1,185 performances across various events, including music, theater, conferences, exhibitions, and more.

Rudaki Foundation: this complex, which includes Vahdat Hall, Rudaki Hall, Hafez Hall, Ferdowsi Hall, the Azadi Tower Complex, and the Rudaki Plaza, has consistently hosted diverse cultural and artistic events.
Throughout the year, a total of 1,185 performances by 376 groups in various fields were held across the foundation’s venues.
The Tehran Symphony Orchestra presented 22 performances of 8 different programs at Vahdat Hall. Additionally, the Iran National Music Orchestra held 8 programs including 11 sessions at Vahdat Hall and one concert in the city of Sari.
As part of the “Tarze Tazeh” initiative by the Rudaki Foundation, 6 music groups performed over 8 nights at Vahdat and Rudaki Halls. Meanwhile, 14 active women’s music groups presented a total of 33 programs specifically for women at Vahdat Hall throughout the year.
In total, 58 music groups held 142 concerts at Vahdat Hall.
Vahdat Hall also hosted the 40th Fajr International Music Festival, hosting 12 traditional, orchestral, and international music groups.
In the field of theater, 5 theater groups performed 143 times at Vahdat Hall. Additionally, during the 42nd Fajr International Theater Festival, 5 theater groups staged their performances at this venue.
Moreover, Vahdat Hall, as one of the country’s most important cultural centers, hosted 32 conferences and special cultural programs at national and international levels in 1403 (2024-2025).
At Rudaki Hall, 39 music groups held 89 performances in various styles, including classical, orchestral, traditional, and fusion. During the Fajr Music Festival, 12 music groups performed at this hall. Additionally, 14 conferences were held at Rudaki Hall.
At Hafez Hall, 12 theater groups staged 265 performances. Furthermore, during the Fajr International Theater Festival, 16 performances by 8 groups were held at this venue. Ferdowsi Hall also hosted 61 performances.
The Rudaki Plaza, located adjacent to Vahdat Hall, has also been a significant center for cultural and artistic activities, hosting various events. During the month of Muharram, the plaza hosted 12 nights of Ta’ziyeh performances. During the Fajr Theater and Music Festivals, 5 street theater performances and one street music performance were held at the plaza.

The Azadi Tower Complex, as a national symbol of Iran and a cultural and artistic center of the Islamic Revolution, has hosted a variety of cultural and artistic events. During the past year, 20 theater groups performed 81 times at the main hall of the complex. Additionally, 40 music groups held 55 concerts in this hall.
Furthermore, the Azadi Tower hosted 12 festivals, while 41 cultural and artistic events were held in various parts of the complex.
In the field of visual arts, 36 individual and group exhibitions of painting, photography, handicrafts, and more were held for a total of 511 days at the galleries of the Azadi Tower.
The tower, with its unique architectural spaces and museum areas, has consistently welcomed domestic and international tourists. In 1403, over 100,000 people visited these spaces.
The projection mapping (video mapping) displays on the tower for various occasions are also among the special programs of the Azadi Tower. Over the past year, 25 projection mapping displays were showcased on the tower’s facade.
