The National Music Orchestra of Iran “Welcoming Spring”

The National Music Orchestra of Iran will hold its final performance of the year with a concert titled “Welcoming Spring” under the baton of Homayoun Rahimian at Vahdat Hall on March 6.

Rudaki Foundation: the National Music Orchestra of Iran will perform pieces by Iranian composers, accompanied by soloists playing the kamancheh, qanun, and violin.

The program will include pieces “Rangarang 1” composed by Rouhollah Khaleqi, “Polka”composed by Darvish Khan and arranged by Shahram Rokuie, “In Memory of Saba” (Turkic Melody) composed by Hossein Dehlavi ,”Shushtari for Violin and Orchestra” composed by Abolhasan Saba and arranged by Hossein Dehlavi  ,”Reng-e Bayat-e Turk” by Abolhasan Saba, “Waiting” by Aminollah Rashidi arranged by Homayoun Rahimian, “March in Mahur” composed by Darvish Khan and arranged by Shahram Rokuie, “Lighthearted” by Hossein Dehlavi as well as “Flight” ,”Nowruz Festival”, “Alzey”, and “Rain Dance” by Behzad Abdi.

The concert titled “Welcoming Spring” and conducted by Homayoun Rahimian, will take place at 9:30 PM on Thursday, March 6, at Vahdat Hall. Interested individuals can purchase tickets through the HonarTicket website
