A Tribute to Hasan Riahi / CEO of Rudaki Foundation Honors Esteemed Music Figure
Mohammad Allah-Yari Foomani, the CEO of the Rudaki Foundation, paid tribute to the veteran artist Hasan Riahi during a ceremony held in his honor at the Association of Cultural Works and Figures.
Rudaki Foundation: the tribute ceremony for Master Hasan Riahi, a prominent figure in Iranian music, was organized by the Association of Cultural Works and Figures in collaboration with the Rudaki Foundation on Saturday, February 15, at the association’s premises.
The event featured the recitation of a message of appreciation from the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance for Master Hasan Riahi, read by Niknam Hosseinipour, as well as speeches by the head of the Association of Cultural Works and Figures, the CEO of the Music House, and Davoud Ganjei.
Following the speeches, a string quartet composed of musicians from the Tehran Symphony Orchestra performed several pieces.
During the ceremony, Mohammad Allah-Yari Foomani presented a certificate of appreciation and a gift to honor Hasan Riahi for his lifelong artistic endeavors in elevating the art of music.
Among the attendees were Mohammad Allah-Yari Foomani, CEO of the Rudaki Foundation; Mahmoud Shalouei, head of the Association of Cultural Works and Figures; Niknam Hosseinipour, head of the Information Center of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance; Hamidreza Noorbakhsh, CEO of the Music House; Davoud Ganjei; Mohammad Mirzamani; the cultural attaché of the Indian Embassy in Iran; and others.
The Rudaki Foundation had also unveiled a bust of Master Hasan Riahi on the evening of Friday, February 14, following a performance by the Tehran Symphony Orchestra at Vahdat Hall, in the presence of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
This bust was commissioned by the Rudaki Foundation as part of its mission to honor and introduce distinguished veteran artists in various fields of art and literature, as well as to celebrate the artistic legacy of this esteemed figure.
