The First Experience of the “Dialogue” Orchestra in the Sixth Edition of the “Tarz-e Taze”
Rudaki Foundation: the first official performance of the Dialogue Orchestra, conducted by Paniz Faryousefi, will take place as part of the sixth edition of the “Tarz-e Taze” initiative
The Dialogue Orchestra was formed this summer in collaboration with the Dialogue Cultural and Artistic Institute, under the artistic direction and leadership of Paniz Faryousefi.
The orchestra is set to deliver its debut official performance on the evening of Tuesday, February 25, at Vahdat Hall.
Dialogue Orchestra will perform works by Antonio Vivaldi, Alessandro Marcello, Gustav Holst, Jean Sibelius, Béla Bartók, Johann Strauss, and Dmitri Shostakovich.
Rojan Fallah Bordbar will also be present as the cello soloist, Behrad Ali Ghorchi as the concertmaster, and Hoora Joneydi as the orchestra’s internal and executive manager in this concert.
The performance is scheduled for 9:30 PM on Tuesday, February 25, at Vahdat Hall as part of the sixth edition of the Rudaki Foundation’s “Tarz-e Taze” project.
“Tarz-e Tazeh” is the title of a project in which the Rudaki Foundation for Culture and Arts provides special support for the ideas of music groups in various styles, including Radif-Dastgahi, regional (folk) music, and Western classical music.
Previously, concerts such as ‘Trio + One’ at Vahdat Hall, ‘Nanshinad Khamoosh’ performed by the Hamnavazan Vedad Ensemble at Roudaki Hall, as well as ‘Chahargan’ at Roudaki Hall, ‘Naghamat-e Nagahan’ performed by Hossein Alishapour and Maziar Shahi at Vahdat Hall, and ‘Nivak Ensemble’ at Roudaki Hall have been held under this project and have been well received by the audience.
