The President Attends “Simorgh Symphony” as a Special Guest

Masoud Pezeshkian, the President, attended the “Simorgh Symphony (Qaf)” concert, conducted by Farhad Fakhreddini and Arash Amini, at Vahdat Hall.

Rudaki Foundation: on the evening of Tuesday, November 26, President Pezeshkian was accompanied by Mohsen Haji-Mirzaei (Chief of Staff to the President), Seyed Abbas Salehi (Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance), Nadereh Rezaei (Deputy Minister for Artistic Affairs), Mohammad Mehdi Ahmadi (Advisor to the Minister and Director General of the Ministerial Office), Mohammad Allahyari Foumani (Managing Director of Rudaki Foundation), and Niknam Hosseinpour (Advisor to the Minister and Head of the Public Relations Center of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance) to attend the concert at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall.

This marks the President Pezeshkian’s first presence at a concert hall since assuming the presidency.

The “Simorgh Symphony (Qaf)” concert is Farhad Fakhreddini’s return to the stage after a decade, where he conducted his latest composition inspired by Attar Nishapur’s “The Conference of the Birds” alongside the Tehran Symphony Orchestra.
The first part of the program featured Fakhreddini’s “Violin Concerto,” conducted by Arash Amini, with Amin Ghaffari as the violin soloist.

In the second part, the “Simorgh Symphony” was performed in five movements, conducted by Fakhreddini, accompanied by a choir and vocal performances by Mehdi Aghamohammadi and Ali Tafreshi.
