A Magnificent Night at Vahdat Hall
The “Trio + One” concert, as the inaugural performance of the “Tarze Taze” initiative, was held on October 25th at Vahdat Hall with a warm reception from the audience.
Rudaki Foundation: “Trio + One,” based on a concept by Hesam Inanlou, was staged under the latest initiative of the Rudaki Foundation titled “Tarze Taze” aimed at supporting artistic groups and received a positive response from Iranian music enthusiasts at Vahdat Hall.
In the first part, Hesam Inanlou and Farzaneh Mahdizadeh performed improvisational solo and duet pieces on the kamancheh with high coordination. Following that, Isa Ghafari, a tar player, and Parsa Nazari, a kamancheh player, came on stage, forming a trio with the kamancheh accompanied by the tar. In this section, the musicians delivered a highly professional improvisation in traditional Iranian music, which ended with prolonged applause from the audience.
“Tarze Taze ” is the name of an initiative in which the Rudaki Foundation supports the ideas of musical groups in various styles, including traditional Persian, regional music, and Western classical music.
The “Trio + One” concert, as the first performance of this initiative, took place at 9:30 PM on October 25th at Vahdat Hall.
